How to play

• Tap the ground to walk (the yellow cross). Double-tap or hold to run; running uses energy. The Run switch by the energy ring keeps you running, and running comes back by itself once the energy refills.
• The guide at the top says what to do next: Go takes you there (double-tap Go to run) and opens what you need.
• The signposts name each place and what you can do there; tap one to walk there. The panel below opens from its tabs and closes with a swipe down, the × or a tap on the map.
• Tap a tree, the fishing spots, the hearth or the stall to use them. Tap a villager to read their mind.
• Give cooked trout to earn trust. Villagers who trust you can join your party (up to 3).
• Sell logs, fish and pelts at the market stall, and buy bandages and better armour there.
• Duel the creatures in the fields. Beat Pip and reach level 6 to open the gate to the Darkwood and its boss.
• When a moment comes, each choice says what your companions' minds will likely do. The odds are the decider's own, and the screen names which decider it is.
• Desktop: click, WASD or arrows to walk, Shift to run, wheel to zoom, B/K/P for the panels.
